Mitch Dermer, Associate

Mitch Dermer has practiced exclusively as a civil litigator since being called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2010. He acts primarily on behalf of insurers in the areas of bodily injury and property loss claims, and also has an interest in creditor/debtor matters and real estate disputes.

Mr. Dermer has represented his clients before the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of British Columbia. His trial experience includes a broad range of insurance and commercial disputes.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Dermer was a book editor for several major  publishers. He is fluent in French, and completed his final year of law school at L’Institut d’études politiques de Paris, France.

He once had hobbies, but now spends the entirety of his free time with his young and growing family.
