elizabeth farries

 

Elizabeth Farries practices civil litigation and criminal defence. She has appeared or juniored for trials and hearings from provincial to federal appellate court levels.

 

Prior to joining Stevens Virgin, Elizabeth was an associate in the litigation department of a leading national law firm. Elizabeth has also worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General, an aboriginal criminal defence firm in Nunavut, and a poverty law clinic in Victoria, British Columbia.

 

Elizabeth has co-authored various legal publications, including the following:

In addition to her practice, Elizabeth has volunteered for various poverty and environmental organizations, been a director of a non-profit environmental organization, and has won recognition for her record of service and commitment to nature.
